ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Incumbent Mayor Tim Keller was inaugurated for a third term Jan. 4, 2026, at the Albuquerque Convention Center, drawing a large crowd.

Keller won a December runoff election against Republican Darren White. He is Albuquerque’s 31st mayor and the first to be elected to three consecutive terms.

According to KOB, Keller said he is committed to working collaboratively on the city’s most pressing issues by increasing transparency and access to city departments and staff.

“We can push past Q&A and debates about power and jurisdiction and focus on policies that will directly make us safer, help people off the streets and build spaces where we can connect with each other,” Keller said.
